Real Estate refers to the land, the air above it, the ground below it, and all things appurtenant to it. Appurtenances include all structures, fixtures, plants (excluding some growing crops), fences, trees, bushes, paving, easements, rights-of-way, etc. and anything else permanently attached.
Real estate includes the land and all things permanently attached to it including:
•The land
•Fixtures
•Anything incidental to the land that benefits the land owner
•Anything else considered immovable (except some annually cultivated crops which are called emblements)
