Assemblage is the combining of two or more adjacent parcels into one larger parcel.  

 

This is usually done in the hope that the combined value will exceed the total value of the individual parcels.  The increased value is called plottage value or Plottage.

 

Assemblage is the opposite of subdivision.

 

Small parcels are assembled to make one bigger parcel.
