Cash on Cash Return

The Cash on Cash Return (also called the Equity Capitalization Rate and the Equity Dividend Rate) is the ratio of a single year's Before Tax Cash Flow and the Equity Investment in the property.

 

The Equity Dividend Rate shows the return on the money actually invested.
