Unity of interest. All tenants have equal interest in the property
Unity of title. Possession must from the same grantor by the same instrument
Unity of possession. All tenants have equal and undivided possession (see unity of possession)
Joint tenancy and tenancy by the entireties require all 4 unities. A tenancy in common requires only unity of possession.
